"My lord." Emilio bowed, displaying the upmost respect for the narcissistic one-eyed king.

We had spent over five minutes waiting for Selene to say something. Anything at this point.
After a moment of tense silence, I began to really feel my worry take a toll on my body. My lungs felt as though they were being squeezed by an iron fist, and every breath felt more like a workout and a task than a natural act. My shoulders felt so tense, I feared my muscles would pop and tear and shred if I made any sudden movement. And then the tension headache began to settle in. It started at the base of my skull, then creeped over and around, until my entire forehead felt as though it was being squeezed like a grape.
When I felt ready to lose my mind, Selene suddenly straightened her posture and spoke, "Adelina do you remember the lake?" She asked me, and I felt myself frown, "What lake?"
"From your calm place." Selene clarified, and I nodded eagerly,"Yes, what about it?"
"Well did you really think it was just there for ornamental purposes?" Selene asked me, and I frowned curiously then blinked faintly knowing my response was going to sound a bit dumb, but I replied anyway,"Well, yes, I think it looks quite nice." I shrugged.
"Of course you do." Selene sent me an exasperated gaze, as though I annoyed her, which I did not do intentionally, but the lake was nice and pretty, "We need to get Anna in there. That's the only way to heal her quick enough."I blinked. Yeah, I had no idea what Selene was thinking.
"But... its in my mind..." I blurted out, though my tone was not as confident as I would've liked it.
"Eh... it is and it isn't." Selene noted, leaning her head from side to side.
"What?" I asked, and blinked confused, and in my peripheral vision, I could seen Demitrey's eyes darting between me and Selene, while he gladly stayed out of the strange exchange.
"Your calm place is sort of in my realm, it is in my control. But you know you have to be unconscious to get there, Or at least be in such a serene state of mind that I can easily transport you there." Selene explained.
"Both of us?" I questioned.
"Both of you. Remember you and Demitrey did it once? It would be just like that." Selene reminded me, and that's when I remembered, "oh yes... so how are doing this? I can't just tell Anna to lay down and sleep, especially since she's in 'rebel mode', she won't go quietly. I'd probably achieve it with a good smack to the head but otherwise..." I explained, knowing that this was a delicate situation, and we had to approach it carefully.
"I understand, just get Anna to the cliff. I'll figure everything else out. Do this quickly Adelina, I cannot stress this enough." Selene instructed, and I nodded, then she did the most unusual thing.
